Dec 31, BBC New Years Eve Show
The world finally saw sense at the close of 2011 and I was broadcast to the nations
courtesy of the BBC World Service. Invited as a guest on the ‘World Have Your Say’
New Years Eve Special from the top of Bush House in the centre of London, I
performed a couple of songs and enjoyed the fireworks from one of the best seats
in the house. Thanks to John the Cabby for the pic.

After a couple of months of recovery after ending year long East End ‘Song A Week’
extravaganza,I’m teaming up with Londonist.com to bring you ‘Folk Olympics’. This will be a
fortnightly series of tales from the 5 Olympic Boroughs; Tower Hamlets, Greenwich, Hackney,
Waltham Forest and Newham and songs inspired by them.

Today I had the great honour of being the first person in the history of the world to perform at the London Aquatic centre, host of all aquatic events for London 2012!
